Hidden Over Thunder
Flashing skies talk with
Moving devotion, as it
Has done for eons
Its voice rolls through minds
Shaking, testing at your heart
Building attention
Shelter the mind's peace
Those rumbles will fade shortly
Mountains stand through clouds
Soda Can
It’s a cycle
To be sold sugar, reprieve
Lip to lip after the sound of a starting gun
Discarded after the dopamine is sold out
Crushed, melted, reformed and reshaped
For another moment of bliss
Scales and Fear
My mental is a cautious King Cobra
With a cape dripping fire, refusing to scorch wood floors
Scales weaved with metaphysics
Yet, all of me is prone to tears
